Kardashian considered abortion

Kourtney Kardashian (30-year-old star of "Khloe and Kourtney Take Miami") Told People magazine she agonized and thought long and hard over whether or not to keep her baby, and she "wasn't thinking about adoption."

The star who is about four months along, told People magazine that others had definite opinions on what she should do, stating "I can't even tell you how many people just say 'Oh, get an abortion.' Like it's not a big deal."

After some serious soul-searching, she concluded, "For me, all the reasons why I wouldn't keep the baby were so selfish."

Cheers to Ms. Kardashian for making the right choice and letting her baby live, and for her willingness to talk publicly about her struggles to reach that decision. She has shown far more courage and integrity than those who flippantly suggested abortion to her. Maybe one day when another young woman is wrestling with this issue, and hearing the same evil "advice", she'll have the opportunity to tell her how she endured the same thing, and then be able to show off her own beautiful child as the blessed reward that comes from choosing life.

AMEN!
For reasons unknown, i've seen little bits here and there of the "reality show" Keeping Up With the Kardashians. It may have something to do with their last name being so close to that of an alien species from Star Trek lore. I also found it amusing that their (step-,i'm guessing)father is none other than Wheaties legend Bruce Jenner! Okay, no sense even trying to lie...seeing the everyday pseudo-drama of "celebrities" who have far more money than common sense is amusing! In my defense, though, it WAS just bits and pieces...adding up to perhaps one whole episode.

It's a wonderful thing that conflict and trial almost always provide the opportunity for genuine GROWTH (mental, spiritual, etc.), and i really gain a good deal of hope for humanity when i hear of stories like this, in which that growth has clearly taken place.

Praise be to God!
