“Free Abortion Day”…

When infamous abortionist George Tiller, who specialized in the legal horror that is "late-term abortion", was murdered on May 31st while attending church at Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita, the flood of public statements from pro-life groups condemning the murderer's actions was instantaneous.

The reaction from the pro-abortion advocates and lobbyists was also immediate and overwhelmingly united…in using the tragedy to enflame and incite the American public against all pro-life groups and pro-life advocates by (yet again) stereotyping the entire pro-life movement as one of hatred towards women filled with psychotic extremists just waiting for their moment to load up and shoot up an abortion clinic, or a NOW rally.

The level of ridiculous rhetoric being spewed by these groups is as unbelievable as it is dishonest and manipulative. Although attacks of this nature by whack-jobs like the one who shot and killed Tiller have been on a steady decline for decades, spokespeople for NARAL make claims that pro-life extremists (which they define as all pro-lifers of course) have been on a rampage killing shooting and maiming their way across the continent unchecked.

Pro-abortion advocates have spent the last (almost) 2 weeks flooding the press and public arena with everything they can think of to condemn all pro-lifers in every arena under the guise of "honoring" George Tiller's memory, when in fact the only thing they are really attempting to do is make as big an impact as possible on the confirmation hearings of Justice Sotomayor whose stance on abortion is (as yet) ambiguous at best.

In the wake of Tiller's murder, his family has stated that his clinic will be closed down, thus bringing the number of known operating "late-term" abortionists in the country down to two. I do not in any way condone his killing, and his murderer deserves to be brought to justice in a court of law with no slack given for his reasons for doing it; murder is murder, no matter the reason/excuse. I also cannot lie and say that the closing of Tiller's clinic of death doesn't bring me joy, less defenseless unborn children being murdered is a wonderful thing. I applaud his family for choosing to close the clinic down rather than finding someone else to operate it, I am sure the pressure to remain open by many pro-abortion folks has been at least as strong as the absurd fictions they've touted in the press in the days since his death.

If you think I am exaggerating how far-out and how extreme pro-abortion advocates are acting over the last 12 days or so, just take a look at the photo below, which appeared in the June 8th edition of The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Just in case the caption isn't clear enough at this size on the web, it reads as follows:

"A woman wipes tears away during a candlelight vigil honoring the life of George Tiller, a slain abortion doctor from Kansas. People gathered at the First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee, 1342 N. Astor St., on Sunday night to mourn the physician who was killed at his church May 31. The vigil was sponsored by NARAL Pro-Choice America."

It's a show; a little fictional drama to influence the general public. These people don't give a flip about George Tiller, their only concern is doing anything they can to promote their agenda.

"A woman wipes tears away…", how convenient that she and her two friends were sitting directly at the front of the photographers frame. Notice how the pews are packed pretty solidly from front to back, except for the front row which has only the three women (who command the frame) in it? Now, do you also notice that the row behind them has little more than enough space for three people directly behind where they are seated? Look at the shot again, do you believe the photographer just walked in and snapped a moment in time at this event? Of course not, it was staged for maximum effect.

"A woman wipes tears away…", She's so utterly heartbroken over the death of a man she has never even met that she cannot stop herself from visibly crying over his death at a public event. Uh-huh. Does she generally react this way to the death of strangers or only to ones who've been murdered? If so, where then are the tears for the 3,000+ children who are murdered in this country each and every day by abortion doctors, like George Tiller, who by his own accounting performed more than sixty-thousand (60,000+) abortions? How can she not cry for them?

The lengths that people in this country will go to justify the slaughter of defenseless children is beyond sickening; and they have the gall to define anyone who is pro-life as a radical, an extremist, or a nut-case.

Just this past Tuesday (June 9th) an abortion business in Pennsylvania called The Philadelphia Women's Center gave away free abortions to show appreciation for the legacy of George Tiller. Choosing to 'honor' someone who was violently murdered, by killing defenseless children free of charge is more than twisted, it is downright evil.

A staff member at the abortion center said that they had not given away any free abortions in the past, and had no plans to any abortions au gratis in the future.

Of course not – they are in the abortion business to make money, plain and simple.
