Queerly beloved?

Webster's dictionary has apparently decided the best way to handle the social issue of marriage in the face of homosexual activism and traditional defenders is to simply...change the meaning of the word 'marriage' in it's dictionary.

In it's 1992 editions, this was the full definition offered:














In fact, an edition from 1913 supplemented its definition with references from the Bible, citing both the gospel of Matthew, and the book of Hebrews.

The "New" definition includes "(2): the state of being united to a person of the same sex in a relationship like that of a traditional marriage " as shown here:















Websters has ignored requests by journalists for explanation of the process that is used to change word definitions.
